Abstracts to be submitted to the 9th International Congress of Exercise and Sport Psychology must be prepared in accordance with the rules stated below. Abstracts that do not comply with these guidelines will not be considered for evaluation.

 

1. Types of Presentations

Oral and poster presentations are accepted at the congress.
Abstracts may be prepared in Turkish or English.

 

2. Abstract Guidelines

The abstract must be between 250 and 450 words.
It should include the following sections: Purpose, Method, Results, and Conclusion.
References should not be included in the abstract text.
Abbreviations must be written in full at their first use.

 

3. Keywords

At the end of the abstract, 3–5 keywords must be included.
Keywords should be written in lowercase and listed in alphabetical order.

 

4. Author Information

Below the title of the abstract, the following information must be clearly and completely stated:

    • Author(s)’ first and last name(s)
    • Institutional affiliation
    • Email address

The presenting author (corresponding author) must also be indicated.

 

5. Formatting Rules

The title of the abstract must be written in uppercase and bold.
The abstract text should be written in Times New Roman, 12-point font, single-spaced.
The text must be justified.

 

6. Review Process

All abstracts will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Evaluation results will be sent to the corresponding author via email on the announced dates.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide whether the presentation will be oral or poster.

 

7. Submission

Abstracts must be submitted through the congress’s online submission system.
Submissions via email will not be accepted.
Submissions made after the deadline will not be considered.

 

8. Publication Policy

Submitted abstracts must not have been previously presented at another congress or published elsewhere.
Accepted abstracts will be published as abstracts in the Congress Book of Abstracts.
